Green Oil is the original award winning green chain lube developed by Green Oils founder, Simon, after feeling guilty about cycling through a river with a petrochemical lubricant on his mountain bike. When he searched for a green alternative none was to be found with some lubricants being labeled as being bad for the environment not just because of their petrochemical base but also containing PTFE/Teflon. Many also carried irritant health warning signs. Green Oil is a 'wet lube', suitable for all riding conditions, rain or shine. The Ecologist Magazine's 'Pick of the Month', Green Oil is also winner of What Mountain Bike's Gold Award. Green Oil bicycle chain lube now comes in a 100% recycled plastic bottle, with brand new 'snap cap', making it easier to travel with. 100% of ingredients are derived from fruit or plant extracts. Petrochemcial and PTFE/Teflon free No Palm Oil Totally Biodegradable Bottle made from 100% recycled plastic Size: 100ml Directions: 1. Drop Green Oil on to the top part of the bottom half of the chain (the ‘inside' of the chain). Simultaneously turn the cranks backward to complete one cycle of the chain, with Green Oil spread across the whole length. 2. Cycle the chain around a few times. 3. If necessary, wipe off any excess. It is important to get Green Oil between the links and rollers of the chain, rather than having lube on the outside of the chain.
