So why would you want to buy Organic products?
A blended polyester /cotton tee-shirt can release about one quarter of its weight in air pollutants and 10x its weight in co2. Just one organic tee-shirt saves the planet from over 100grams of nasty agricultural chemicals. Growing just three pounds of cotton takes one pound of chemicals, while organic cotton takes ZERO.
What about Fair Trade?
terms of trade for farmers and workers in the developing world. By mandating companies to pay reasonable prices (which must never fall below the market price), Fairtrade puts conventional trading methods to the sword, conventional trade is largely corrupting and rotten and usually disadvantages the poorer workers and economies. Fair Trade enables them to take control of their own destiny, and to substantially improve their own, their families and their local communities lives.We have tried to make it easier for you to find the eco products you want and easier to compare prices of the various green suppliers.
